earned her degree in economics at the University of Cambridge in 1925. She was
then married to Austin Robinson, who was also an economist, and started
teaching at Cambridge from 1931 and became a full-time professor in 1965. She

committees for government during wartime. Her interest of study lied upon
underdeveloped and developing countries, such as Soviet Union, China, North
Korea, and India, studying Marx and Keynes. She dedicated her time on attending

her own books and funding lectures.
In addition to writing about Keynesian economics, she had a very influential book on imperfect competition.
